Hello Crawford Community,

I hope you and your families are safe and doing well. We are now in the month of November. We continue with Online Learning during the Coronavirus pandemic. Our district is working on a plan to have our students and staff return to our school site on January 25, 2021. I will continuously keep you informed if there should be any changes to this date or of any updates.

We had our first Coffee with the Principal this past October 27. We had a great turnout and great conversation. Our next Coffee with the Principal meeting will be on Thursday, November 19 at 8:30 am. Please join us as we discuss our school, upcoming events, and have rich conversations. Click here for the link to the Zoom meeting

Students received their Quarter 1 Report Cards on November 6. The grades that your student received are part of their transcript. Please contact our teachers if you have any questions or concerns. Your child’s counselors are also available if you should have any questions. Mr. Dadmun is the counselor for students with last names from A – Hs, Mr. Shaw is the counselor for students with last names from Ht – Ng, and Ms. Vasquez is the counselor for students with last names from Nh – Z. Their e-mails are:

Mr. Dadmun

Mr. Shaw

Ms. Vasquez

Lastly, our School Board adopted a Standards-Based grading policy. The implementation of this policy will be a gradual process in order to align our school site policies to the revised grading policy. More information will follow from our site and we appreciate your patience and understanding as we work together to support all of our students and families during this transition.

Please remember that you can e-mail us if you should have any questions, comments, and/or concerns. We are here to work with you. If you don’t know who to contact with your question, please start by calling our school at 619 362-3700. You can also e-mail one of our vice principals. Mrs. Ciudad Real (Vice Principal) can be reached at, Mr. Ross (Vice Principal) can be reached at, and you can reach me at
